GROWTH (2019)
I work for the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Oxford. This work was an investigation into the plants used for scientific research. This work was collaborative in nature, as I do not have a scientific background, which allowed me to learn from the researchers and through the work itself.
The aim was to reveal the beauty and form of the plants by getting up close and studying their form in controlled environments. I was also exploring the symbiosis between the plants and the researchers, and the role the photograph has to play in this delicate, and important relationship.
